I can't believe I can't check more off my list!! I feel lazy :(
I just donated a toy..not for toys for tots, but I'm still counting it as that one, so taht's done for this year. I also checked off a few for cooking something new each week. I shoudl have done each month, mostly because I completely forgot to keep track of taht..so 4 is a guess, it may be more.
I'm hoping 2010 gives me a renewed sense of...umm..whatever it is that will make me movitvated to get through this list!!

2 more things off my list!
One big thing and one little thing. First, the little thing- I finally got a new pair of glasses- woo hoo! One of the nose cushion thingies broke off my other pair, plus I wanted a new style- kind of retro thicker framed glasses. SO thanks to my friends at beyondhello.com, I did a mystery shop and was able to get nice Ralph Lauren glasses for over 50% off. yippee! I want to get better at posting pictures with my posts, but I didn't take a picture of myself in the glasses yet...
Second thing is a big one- I passed the Real Estate Salesperson's License exam! I've always been interested in real estate, and Jamie's been in the business for 5 years now. After I finished with grad school I figured now was as good a time as any. Plus, the state is thinking of increasing the number of in-class education hours required to become an agent. Currently it is 24 classroom hours, and it may increase to 60. Big difference!
So, on Saturday morning I drove to Woburn to take the exam. The exam is in 2 parts- Federal and State. You can pass/fail both or either of the sections. I was very nervous I would not pass the Massachusetts exam. Luckily, I passed both! Not so luckily, they take your picture for your license right before you take the exam, so I had my hair pulled back into an ugly ponytail and had my new glasses on. I don't look very chic. :/
I am going to be working under Jamie at Custom House Realty- - go Team Murphy!! I think I already have my first client lined up for the spring. So if you know anyone looking to buy or sell on the South Shore, send them my way! I do make North Shore exceptions for very special people though :)
